This Thermostat opens 10 degrees celsius before the standard factory fitted thermostat. This helps to cool the engine more effectively and helps prevent overheating especially on turbocharged engines.

We also sell the insert only type so the original upper housing can be reused if you are looking to keep the engine as original as possible (to retain the upper housing with the genuine O.E Number and look) as with other options the insert is not always interchangeable.
